What is an Urgent eVisa?

The Madagascar Urgent eVisa carries the same validity and entry rights as the standard Madagascar Tourist eVisa.

The difference is processing speed.

Urgent processing is available across all three Tourist eVisa durations: 15, 30, and 60 days. You choose the duration and the processing speed that fits your travel window.

Urgent Processing Options

Select the timeframe that works for your departure date.

Additional Cost

Rush Processing

2 - 4 Working Days

$59

Super Rush Processing

Standard Processing remains available for applicants with more time. The typical approval window is 4 - 6 Working Days, with no additional processing fee.

The processing fee is added to your total Madagascar eVisa cost at checkout. Review the final amount before you submit your application.

Who Can Apply?

Urgent processing is open to any applicant eligible for the Madagascar Tourist eVisa.

Before applying, confirm that:

  • Your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended entry date
  • You are applying for tourism purposes
  • Your travel dates fall within the eVisa validity period you select

How to Apply

Step 1: Complete the Application Form

Enter your full name, passport number, nationality, and port of arrival. Double-check all details before moving forward.

Step 2: Upload Your Document

Submit a clear scan of your passport bio-data page. The image must be sharp, fully visible, and free of glare or cropping.

Step 3: Select Your Processing Speed

Choose Rush or Super Rush for urgent processing based on your travel timeline.

Step 4: Pay the Fee

Complete payment using an accepted payment method. The total shown at checkout includes both the eVisa fee and your selected processing charge.

Step 5: Receive Your eVisa

Your approved eVisa will arrive by email. Download it, print a copy, and carry it with you to the port of entry.

Tracking Your Application

Once submitted, you can monitor your application status through three channels:

  • Email updates: Status notifications are sent to your registered email address
  • Portal tracking: Use the status tracking tool after submission on the eVisa portal
  • Support contact: The Madagascar eVisa support team is available 24/7 for status queries

Check your inbox regularly, including your spam or junk folder, in case automated emails are filtered.

Common Application Errors

Errors on urgent applications can cause delays or rejection. The most common issues are:

  1. Incorrect personal details

Names, passport numbers, and dates of birth must match your passport exactly. Any mismatch can trigger a delay.

  2. Expired or expiring passport

Apply with a passport that remains valid well beyond your trip. A passport expiring close to your travel date may not meet entry requirements.

  3. Poor quality document scans

Low-resolution images, blurry uploads, or partially visible pages are a leading cause of processing delays. Scan your passport bio page at high resolution in good lighting before uploading.

  4. Missing follow-up action

The processing team may send an email requesting additional documents or clarification. Respond promptly; delays in response can affect your approval timeline.

Review all details carefully before submitting. An incorrect application submitted under urgent processing is subject to the same review and rejection criteria as any other application.
